Our mission is to foster and environment of strong economic vitality through a supportive atmosphere whereby our new and existing can develope and flurish within the current industry climate.

The Brooks County Development Authority exists to promote economic development in Brooks County by aiding in the expansion of existing industry and through the attraction of new investment and quality employment opportunities. The Authority focuses on economic development to create financial opportunity for all citizens, i.e. jobs; through business investment resulting in a more diversified public revenue base.

Work with existing businesses to support and assist with their plans for endurance an/or expansion
Maintain a "product" of interest for businesses searching for a new location
Preserve the agricultural base through participation and association with farmers in the community
Promote historical significance, future readiness, and a business-friendly climate established by the community
